The San Diego Zoo is one of the most popular zoos in the world, and with good reason. Not only do they have an amazing collection of well-cared for animals, but during the summer months the zoo itself becomes the stage for nighttime entertainment.

From Sesame Street to the oceans, SeaWorld is full of characters and adventure. You can get splashed by whales, pet dolphins and sample Budweiser products (for free!). There are shows, activities and fun for everyone.

There are plenty of beaches to visit in San Diego, many of them less crowded than Mission Beach, but this is where you get the real feel for the city. The views are fantastic, whether you're looking at the ocean, the skyline or the array of people that flock to the area. Seriously, you've got to see some of these people.
