Our Take on San Andreas, California

At the foothills of the Sierras lies the historic town of San Andreas, California. Your San Andreas, California to do list will be packed with exciting adventures, regardless of the season.  Spring brings beautiful wildflowers, summer lends itself to water sports, fall creates lovely wine tours, and in the winter, skiers and snowboarders will not be disappointed.

For an authentic experience, we recommend staying in a Victorian style mansion turned bed and breakfast. There are 9 bedrooms within the 5000 square feet of the Robin’s Nest, and your gourmet breakfast may include blueberries and cream soup, Gran Marnier French toast, brioche, or shirred eggs Florentine.

About 12 miles east of the town are the historic caverns, where you can take a walking tour of the National Natural Landmark or have an above ground experience on the zip lines, where you will see the sights from high above the ground as you speed by at up to 40 miles per hour.  There are hundreds of restaurants and the wineries, perfect for a romantic getaway. Check out Black Sheep Winery or Broll Mountain Vineyards for lovely experiences.
