OUR TAKE ON SACRAMENTO

Wildlife enthusiasts traveling to the Sacramento are in for a treat!  We love the Yolo Basin Foundation, a 16,000 acre area that is home to birds, reptiles, fish and plants that was dedicated by former President Bill Clinton in 1997.

For architecture lovers, Victorian style houses can be found through 7th and 16th, between E and I.  The Helibron home is a very notable visit, located 740 O Street.

One of the most popular stops on people’s Sacramento California to do list is Old Sacramento, an National Registered Landmark featuring dining, specialty shops, and unique lodging options.

Family friendly itineraries should include a trip to Raging Waters, an exciting water park where adventurers can dare to plunge 5 stories through the Dragon‘s Den.

Hungry and thirsty travelers can find refuge at one of many eateries, pubs and or wine bars. Sacramento California accommodations will be fun if you choose the gorgeous Amber Inn, a bed and breakfast serving a gourmet meal to their guests. You can also choose to live like royalty and lay your head to rest at The Sterling Hotel, which is really a Victorian mansion.

Whether it is a family friendly vacation you are after, or a romantic getaway is your desire, you will find your pot of gold in Sacramento.

Whatever you do, thanks for making UpTake your first step!
