OUR TAKE ON RIVERSIDE

Riverside vacations can include a visit to botanical gardens, presented by the University of California Riverside, featuring 3,500 plant species, 195 species of birds.  Travelers are likely to see a Pied-billed Grebe, a Great Blue Heron, and a Ruddy Duck on most any day. Some lucky people may get to observe a kangaroo rat, a gray fox, an opossum, or even a bobcat. All in all, it’s a very family friendly activity.

Riverside, California accommodations can be a lesson in history if travelers stay at the Mission Inn, where C. C. Miller began taking in guests in 1876. Or, guests who choose to stay at the Riverside Marriot won’t be far from famed theme parks like Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, which was America’s first theme park.  For more kid-friendly fun, check out the local Castle Park with miniature golf and rides of all kinds.

Shoppers can enjoy the Main Street Pedestrian mall and when you get hungry, there is sure to be many choices of faire.

The palm trees are everywhere, the citrus groves fragrant, and the Victorian mansions stunning, so enjoy whatever is on you Riverside California to do list.
