THINGS TO DO

Ocean Beach
"I think its a great place to hang out, especially when you catch it on a good day. The beach stretches forever and there is always enough space to run around and have your own party. One of the best parts is that they allow bonfires which is becoming rare, but having a bonfire at the beach rocks because at night even though its cold you can sit by a bonfire and have a blast. Everyone should check out Ocean Beach, you wont regret it!" - a Tripadvisor user

Golden Gate Park (Sharon Meadows Playground)
"I'm a 25 year resident of San Francisco. Upon my revisit to the Golden Gate Course I could hardly recognize the place...ABSOLUTELY RENEWED...cared for fairways, greens that are well-maintained and BEST OF ALL, a former PGA pro named Bruce who runs the place and has seeded my 7 year old son's love for the game. This course/after-school program I'd highly recommend to any parent and also a testament to how privatizing a former run-down sh-t hole it in SF can be revitalized so we SFers can bring our kids & families and have fun with a game & enjoy some well-groomed natural beauty......these guys deserve HUGE credit for the sweat they put into reviving this course and program." - a Go City Kids user

Grace Cathedral
"Coming from the UK, with our usually smaller buildings, the first impression of the Cathedral's immense size was immediately felt on approach by the steps and once inside. However, architecture apart, the Cathedral has also an ability to make it feel a personal space too and I could sense not only a warm welcome but a positive and uplifting atmosphere. This is obviously from the tangible effect of scale but also from the faith and strength of conviction given in the welcome to all." - a Yahoo user
