Nevada City is a charming little Western-style town in the heart of California's Gold Country. There is much California history in this area, and there is gorgeous natural scenery, so it's a great place to enjoy the outdoors year-round. You can shop and eat in the cute town of Nevada City or neighboring Grass Valley, and then get out and enjoy nature in the surrounding areas.

outstanding breakfast in a casual and comfortable setting.
Cirino's Italian Restaurant is a great place for authentic Italian cuisine. Jerry Cirino has brought a lot of recipes from his grandmother. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere with consistently tasty food, at reasonable prices. The Bloody Marys come highly recommended.

The New Moon Cage is one of the more popular restaurants in town, favored by tourists and locals alike. It has an excellent atmosphere, in an old restored home, with pretty lighting. Best for dinner, with wholesome, fresh and natural ingredients.
An excellent place for breakfast and lunch. Too bad they don't serve dinner! The food is delicious, coming from fresh, mostly organic, local produce.
Outside seating is available on the covered patio.
