OUR TAKE ON NEVADA CITY
Between Tahoe and Sacramento lies the historically preserved town of Nevada City, California. Things to do here may include the natural landscapes which are breathtaking. Whether it is fall and the trees are a pallet of oranges and reds, or winter covers the ground in a perfect white sheet you will not be disappointed. Families will love the outdoor activities in any season including fishing, hiking, kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, water sports and snow sports. As for the history, it is rich. Nevada City, California is often called the best preserved gold coast city. There are 93 buildings listed with the National Register of Historic Places and 18 listed landmarks making this a must see town. The National Hotel, built in 1854, is still fully operating. In The Old Brewery you will find granite walls from 1882. Lodging will be an experience as well.
