Top 6 Things To Do In Monterey

Any trip to Northern California would be incomplete without a stop in Monterey. It's a lovely town with a scenic pier, great restaurants and shops, museums that will knock your socks off, and don't forget about the wine!

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a great attraction for all ages. With Sea horses, sea lions, flamingoes, penguins, jellyfish and shark they have something for everybody. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes because you're going to be doing a lot of walking.
This is a great place to walk around and take in the beautiful scenery of Monterey. You can hop on a whale watching tour, buy some souvenirs, or sit out on the deck and have some clam chowder. Either way its the setting for an awesome day.

Hotel Pacific is an affordable hotel in a central location. It's quiet, clean, and they provide a complimentary breakfast. You can't ask for much more. Check for parking though on the street before you pay $20 to park in their garage.

A friendly staff in a cozy little tasting room dish out a sampling of 7-8 reds, whites and a desert wine for $5. Sound good? It gets better. If you buy a bottle your tasting fee is deducted from the price. They have a nice balcony area too where you can enjoy your wine and admire the vines.
You can hop on a whale watching tour, buy some souvenirs, or sit out on the deck and have some clam chowder.
