Heavenly Healdsburg: A Weekend With The Girls

Been missing your girlfriends? Invite them to join you for a relaxing and decadent weekend in Healdsburg. It is my "go to" spot with my friends for some R&R. I've been to each location I've listed below and can vouch for their charm and great service! You can wine, dine, shop and visit the spas, but still be gentle on the pocketbook. It's an art-lover's haven too! Whether you are window shopping or into serious indulgence, it is a wonderful weekend destination.

Rosahmbo winery, a playful take on the children's game has a superb wine list, and a hip ambience. Come with your friends for some winetasting, but end up making a roomful more-It is that inviting! I recommend their Syrah ('07-'09 vintages.) We've been known to make the 90-minute trek from our home just for that alone! But all their wi... More >

I recommend their Syrah ('07-'09 vintages.) We've been known to make the 90-minute trek from our home just for that alone! But all their wines are tasty. They're open every day from 10am-5pm and have a very reasonable tasting fee. Make this the first or last stop on your winery tour and you'll go home happy!

Why do we love it? All of their food is sourced from local Wine Country purveyors, their wines all come from local wineries and it is a super fun place to visit with a group of people. A local art gallery owner invited my husband and I to join them at their table one evening at Barndiva, there are no pretentions here. Just a friendly and warm food community. You'll spend about $50 per person for an appetizer, entree and cocktail or wine.
I recommend their Syrah ('07-'09 vintages.) We've been known to make the 90-minute trek from our home just for that alone!
