Top 6 Things to do in Clovis

It is really amazing just how many great things that there are to do in the Clovis-Fresno area. I think a great getaway should involve great food so I have included two amazing restaurants for your dining pleasure: Campagnia and The Rio Grill. If you are more the nature type you may want to spend most of your time in the incredible Sierra National forest. Camp, hike and swim in the beautiful lakes. But if you prefer your water adventures from a theme park then try the highly rated Wild Water Adventures Park.

I picked this hotel in nearby Fresno because it is great for families. This hotel is clean, a good deal for the money, has all the amenities like pool, spa etc., and offers rooms with full kitchens or kitchenettes that allows for families to eat at "home" to save money if they prefer.

This water park is the real deal. The largest in Central California you can find just about anything to do here Including of course, water play. You can barbecue your own food in shaded picnic area. You can even fish in the lakes!
They also offer free star gazing for the public on Fridays when the weather is good.
This 1.3 million acre forest is really a spectacular place to visit or camp. Ranging in altitude from 900 to almost 14,000 ft, the park encompasses forested woodlands, lakes and alpine Sierra wilderness area.

This restaurant is all about barbecue Brazilian style, called Churrassca. This is slow-cooked fire side barbecue that melts in your mouth. Great food! But the Rio Grill is also about offering the full-on Brazilian experience to its customers. More

I am the Vice President of an international, non-profit conservation organization, Save the Turtles, Inc. My eight years as a hands-on VP has provided me with plenty of experience writing web content, proposals, ad copy, brochures, fliers, promotional material, letters of inquiry (the list could go on and on.) Writing for Save the Turtle's website has provided me with great exposure to the concepts and practices of SEO. It seems that we have done rather well as our Google ranking is most often number one on the page. Although, I am still on the board of Save the Turtles and every bit as passionate about saving endangered species as ever, I am currently also enjoying another incarnation as a freelance writer. I love, love, love writing travel blogs! Lately, I have been writing for Uptake.com. and Mynatour, an eco-travel site based in London. I have also written an number of articles for other sites covering such wide-ranging topics as health, food, real estate, and science. My goal, with each writing assignment, is to match each clients individual needs by writing with an appropriate "voice" and level of readability for each unique, target audience.
