Top 6 Things to do in Campbell

If you are planning on passing through Campbell with the kids, why not get a hotel room and check out some of the local attractions? There are some things here that your kids will really enjoy. The number one kid attraction is possibly the Winchester Mystery House but I think that the Rosaecrucian Egyptian Museum is a close second. My nieces just love to be scared (just a bit) and what's more scary than a big old haunted looking house? How about a mummy? That's right, an actual, ancient Egyptian dead person. There are a few of them here. You'll enjoy an amazing array of authentic artifacts in this cool museum that lies off the beaten path.

The rooms are large, clean and the prices are hard to beat. The beds are comfy. You can get a room with a kitchenette and a refrigerator--nice things to have when you are traveling with kids. My kind of chain hotel.

This is an incredible little Egyptian museum (and planetarium). The architecture was inspired by the Temple of Amon at Karnak. Yes, you will find real mummies here and lots of other treasures. In fact, this museum houses the largest exhibit of Egyptian artifacts in western America.
You could get lost forever in this quirky Victorian house. Secret passageways, stairways that go on and on, one can only wonder at the twisted and eccentric mind behind this spooky monolithic maze. Keep up with the tour group or you may disappear "forever". Boo!
This is a small--but cool--little theme park for younger kids. However, adults (like me) will appreciate the pretty gardens with aromatic smelling roses. There are also large trees to shelter under from the hot summer sun. Adults will find this place more relaxing and less crazy than your typical theme-park.
You can get a room with a kitchenette and a refrigerator--nice things to have when you are traveling with kids.
Stop in this lovely tea shop for some tea and freshly baked scones. You will be escorted to a comfy chair or settee so relax and let the ambiance of linen tablecloths and fine china take you away to Europe, England (or wherever tea shops abound). More

I am the Vice President of an international, non-profit conservation organization, Save the Turtles, Inc. My eight years as a hands-on VP has provided me with plenty of experience writing web content, proposals, ad copy, brochures, fliers, promotional material, letters of inquiry (the list could go on and on.) Writing for Save the Turtle's website has provided me with great exposure to the concepts and practices of SEO. It seems that we have done rather well as our Google ranking is most often number one on the page. Although, I am still on the board of Save the Turtles and every bit as passionate about saving endangered species as ever, I am currently also enjoying another incarnation as a freelance writer. I love, love, love writing travel blogs! Lately, I have been writing for Uptake.com. and Mynatour, an eco-travel site based in London. I have also written an number of articles for other sites covering such wide-ranging topics as health, food, real estate, and science. My goal, with each writing assignment, is to match each clients individual needs by writing with an appropriate "voice" and level of readability for each unique, target audience.
