OUR TAKE ON BERMUDA DUNES
Bermuda Dunes California is named for the popular Bermuda Dunes Country Club, a golf course community. The original Bermuda Dunes Golf Course opened in 1959 and remains a highly ranked setting for professional (and amateur) golfers. The course offers a myriad of tournaments and reserves many special hours for lady players.
Referred by the nearby Palm City Chamber of Commerce, we enjoyed luxurious lodging at reasonable prices, with great gaming activity at the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino. The outdoor pool is unusually shaped, offering additional space for sunbathers. Be sure to visit at night, as it’s especially beautiful under the lights! Fantasy Springs boasts a fully-equipped bowling alley for Family-Friendly vacationers, with late night laser bowling and an extensive video game arcade for the kids! The on-site restaurants were convenient, offering a well-prepared variety of diverse food choices.
Romantic couples love the Mediterranean-style Korakia Pensione, located in nearby Palm Springs. All rooms at the Pensione are exquisitely furnished, and there’s a range of prices. Be sure to visit their website. We just loved the spa, and our stay in the Moroccan Suite was incredible. The Korakia deserves its praise from Travel Guides. The NY Times lauds this Bermuda Hills-area Lodging as “One of the sexiest hotels in America.”
