Another educational, kid-friendly site is the Benicia Historical Museum, where they’ll be fascinated with the dynamic Mizners, one of Benicia’s earliest and unusual pioneer families.

We were impressed with the Benicia State Recreation Facility, which includes 730 acres of marshland, rocky beaches, and grassy hills. Benicia SP Activities include biking, horseback riding, cycling, hiking, running, birdwatching, and picnicking. There’s even exercise equipment along the trails for added fitness training!
