OUR TAKE ON ANAHEIM
Anaheim is great for Family Vacations and the perfect kid-friendly destination in Southern California. Home to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and nearby Universal Studios, you’ll have a hard time deciding where to start! Be sure to include Angel Stadium of Anaheim for the sports fans in your group! Kids and adults enjoy the Aquarium of the Pacific at Long Beach, for great interaction with animals and marine life. The whole family will enjoy The Pirates Dinner at Buena Park, just minutes from Anaheim. The show and wide food selection make this dinner a great value and wonderful family-friendly adventure!
We found the Lemon Tree Motel right downtown to be an excellent Anaheim lodging choice. The friendly hotel staff was comprised of Australians, and offered great value for a Family-friendly vacation or Romantic Couples’ getaway. There’s a workout facility, barbeque pit, swimming pool, and breakfast is included!
A nice alternative for family groups is the Anaheim Camelot Inn and Suites, located within walking distance of Disneyland. This Anaheim lodging choice offers a superb selection of amenities with its price: continental breakfast, laundry facilities, large pool area, and a concierge to help with theme park tickets. The Inn boasts 95 percent of the rooms reserved for non-smoking, and we appreciated it!
