Romantic Splurge, Victoria British Columbia

A few years ago my husband surprised me with a Romantic Getaway to Victoria British Columbia. This gorgeous seaside town is the perfect place for romance. Here are some of the highlights of our trip and places I want to see when we go back.

Victoria Clipper

For a romantic entrance into Victoria take the Victoria Clipper ferry from Seattle. Relax with your love on the boat ride, and be sure to take in the view as you approach beautiful Victoria Harbor.

Approaching this hotel, you will feel like royalty and the staff at the Fairmont treat you as such. The central location makes it the perfect home base for a Victoria romance.

Butchart Gardens

Your love will bloom in this breathtaking garden. It's the perfect place for a wedding or just a romantic couple's photo.

Roger's Chocolates

If Chocolate is the food of love, then this shop is a must visit destination for your Victoria getaway. Take some back to the hotel with a bottle of champagne and enjoy!

Craigdarroch Castle

Nothing says romance like visiting a castle. Our waitress at the Blue Crab said that this is a must visit destination for a Victoria getaway. I can hardly wait to take it in when we go back.

The central location makes it the perfect home base for a Victoria romance.
