During the past few months, we realized it is a time consuming and frustrating experience to find great travel blogs. We wished for a tool somewhere to help us. We couldn’t find it. We decided to build a travel blog search tool, add our favorite travel blogs and then ask the great blogosphere to help us with the search results. We hope, with your help, to create one of the most comprehensive travel blog search tools on the web. Of course, the search box is “widgetized” and available to anyone who wants to include it in their blog. Instructions can be found here.
How it Works
Recommend your favorite travel blogs to us via your blog, email or a comment to this post and we will add them to the search engine. Check back often, as we continue to add new blogs and update the list. To get it going, we added 20 of the travel blogs we consider up-to-date, useful and welcoming to all travelers.
We know there are thousands more, let us know your favorites.

Hi guys, thanks for the post and your email.
though http://ExposedPlanet.com (tags: travel, photography, culture) is a travel blog, it does not really fit in the categories above as it is more aphotographic journey over the 7 continents and its people, from sealevel to Everest…
From the About:
I have started ExposedPlanet.com not only as a way to show my portfolio, but also to share the beauty of our planet. Nowadays negative press & media might make people scared of everything foreign or different: culture, religion, people and the places themselves. This xenophobia is taking over our lives and prevents us from seeing the real world as it is: a wonderful place with beautiful people. There are no bad or evil countries, religions or people. There is bad and good people in every culture, including your own.
I hope I can share a bit of the amazement I have enjoyed while traveling the 7 continents. The more I see, the more I know I still have to see and I will. Life is too short to focus on not-existing enemies & fears.
Thanks for your attention,
with best regards,
Harry
This is a new project and has just started. It a place where cyclist in general and bicycle travellers in particular can get a free blog (like http://yourname.biketravellers.com).
If we all cycle a bit more instead of driving, then the world will become just a bit better, cleaner and more fun. And besides it makes for great stories and photos
Thanks,
Harry (the same as from ExposedPlanet

Hi there, if it’s on the map it will probably end up on http://www.guidebook.se one day. It’s about my mistakes from different journeys. So far it has been mostly about hotels but there is more (like Japanese ATMs and Oyster Cards). If you’re in the neighbourhood, take a look!
All the best,

Great idea! My blog, http://www.flyaway-weblog.com features budget travel ideas from someone who has actually been there, done that and collected a few tee shirts along the way. You can also find some great photos of my recent trip to Thailand.
My husband and I both work at major Colorado ski areas, so, come winter, I will be letting you know about great deals before they hit the general public. Also included: How to upgrade your travel experiences with frequent flyer miles and frequent hotel points!
Good Idea to build a Google custom search engine and help us find good blog post quickly.
I suggest You also to create a widget (i.e. widgetbox) to collect the rss feed of these blogs.
Take bestgreenblogs as example.
Please if You find it useful You can also add Trip Adventure Blog
Thank You
Enrico from italy
We’d be delighted if you could add Your Mileage May Vary to your list, too.
Hi Enrico, thanks for the tip. I will add you tomorrow.
Here is one more.
Thanks!
Thanks!
