A classic fish and chips at Anthony's

The last several years, I’ve headed out to lovely San Diego, California. My sister lives out that way and I always love the weather, the beautiful scenery and the San Diego area has just some incredible people. Instead of flying this year, I hopped in the ol’ car and hit the highway all the way from San Antonio, Texas to San Diego and back. it was an incredible drive let me tell you! The call of the open road, the chance to see more of this great country and the opportunity to ponder life was just too much to resist. This year, I wanted to incorporate my love of craft beer with my trip. I wanted to get as much as I could out of this trip, see as many craft breweries and beer bars as I could fit in a week long trip.

Apple Strudel with custard – went down in about 3 minutes. Gluewhein…sure, of out season, but they had some left from December. Read More »
