The sunrise over Sydney Harbor and the famed Sydney Opera House in beautiful Australia is exactly how I pictured it (in my mind, I didn’t actually take the picture — that info is below).
This post is part of Wordless Wednesday but with words in it. It happens.

What a beautiful picture. Australia is one of the most unique places you can travel. It’s one of my favorite destinations and it’s also close to another one of my favorites, New Zealand.
There are a lot of fun things to do in Sydney. Here are just a few:
The Rocks
The Rocks is the birthplace of modern Australia where you will learn about Sydney’s colorful convict history. Take a ghost tour, walk through the weekend markets and climb the span of the Harbour Bridge. You can also go to bistros, pubs, restaurants and souvenir shops.
Shopping for Opals
Shopping for opals in Sydney is extremely popular both for their beauty and value. There are the rare Black Opals, the Boulder Opals, Light Opals, Doublets, Triplets and the Common Opals. Many shops have free educational sessions which are fun whether you decide to purchase opals or not.
Bondi Beach to Coogee Coastal Walk
Taking a relaxing walk along this famous beach is a great way to spend a leisurely couple of hours. This is a lesser known parts of Sydney and is primarily visited by the locals. There are places to eat and swim along the way.
Best,
Chuck
