Snowflake Vacations, Tourism & Travel Information

OUR TAKE ON SNOWFLAKE

Surrounded by Arizona's White Mountains, Snowflake, although not famous for their snow, is slowly growing into a popular tourist and vacation spot for people looking to escape the city.  Besides trying out a round of golf on one of their beautiful golf courses, families and kids can tour 100 historic houses and visit historic sites all around Snowflake.  We recommend you stay here for at least a couple of days, a perfect mini-vacation to entertain kids of all ages.

To quickly entertain restless kids, take them to Snowflake Temple, where they can look at huge displays of Native American art, view religious artifacts, and learn about Snowflake's fascinating history.  Kids still restless?  Take them to the preserved historic houses in town, where they can learn about the construction of these houses.

Going on a romantic vacation without the kids?  We suggest visiting the Petrified Forest National Park, a rare sight in this region of Arizona.  Romantics can stroll along smooth, ground paths.  There are also romantic local restaurants in town, so if you want to rekindle that old romantic flame, head to these restaurants for a great time.  Unfortunately, lodging here isn't so accommodating -- it is actually quite sparse, with only few lodging options.  Choose from traditional lodging options such as romantic bed and breakfasts, or if you want a natural spin, pick lodging at a local camping ground.  No matter what you choose, however, Snowflake has a lot to offer you.  For more information about vacations in scenic Snowflake, visit their website.
