Sierra Vista Vacations, Tourism & Travel Information

OUR TAKE ON SIERRA VISTA

For a relaxing, scenic trip, Sierra Vista has it all, just a short drive from the Mexico Border.  Despite its location, Sierra Vista is moderately cooler than other regions in Arizona, making this a popular vacation spot during the spring and summer.  Sierra Vista is also moderately bigger than other towns in this region, meaning you'll get the small town experience without the small town cost.

For a fun-filled family vacation, we suggest visiting Murray Springs Clovis Site, an internationally famous Mammoth site.  This site's history traces back to over 11,000 years of untouched history -- something to marvel young kids.  Afterward, head to southeastern Arizona's famous ghost towns, Millville and Charleston.  These preserved abandoned mine towns will prove to be a thrill for young kids and adults alike.

For adults looking for more romantic options, make sure to visit Our Lady of the Sierras Shrine, just a short drive from Sierra Vista.  Located in the Huachuca Moutains, this is a popular spiritual resort for many couples.  Head into Sierra Vista to visit a local restaurant, perfecting for quiet romantic rekindling.  For a romantic overnight stay, choose lodging in town, where the rooms are romantic and decorated with fine, western decor.  Choose lodging outside of town if you want a more romantic, rugged feel.  For more information about beautiful Sierra Vista, including lodging, romantic attractions, kid friendly attractions, and other nearby vacation spots, visit their website.
