Touting itself as "The West's Most Western Town", Scottsdale is closely turning into Arizona's hottest vacation resort, attraction over 5 million visitors every year.  Why?  Besides having several popular, scenic golf courses and an expansive shopping area, Scottsdale also hosts several shows each year celebrating its proud, western culture and hosts over 125 art galleries.  Scottsdale, collectively, is a popular vacation resort for younger crowds, although families vacation here as well.  Avoid the night where it gets wild.

To start things off on a good note, some kid friendly attractions are The Scottsdale Center for the Arts, which hosts numerous performances every year.  Make sure you view one of Scottsdale's performances at least once, although you should avoid the adult shows here, which include Menopause: The Musical.  Afterward, take your kids to shopping malls in Scottsdale's Old Town.  We recommend trying out the western cuisine here, although Scottsdale has everything and anything. 

If you want to rekindle some romance without any help from your kids, make sure to visit the Scottsdale Waterfront in Old Town Scottsdale, adjacent from Scottsdale's busy shopping district.  It's a slice of the Arizona outback from the safe view of the waterfront.  Along with their famous waterfront, they are also famous for their romantic restaurants, where they see many young couples looking to rekindle that flame.  They also have luxurious hotels and lodging suites in town – make sure to stay in downtown for a great experience.  We recommend lodging at one of their famous hotels.  For more information about attractions, lodging, vacation packages, and more, visit Scottsdale's visitors' website.
