Looking for a taste of the old west and the new west?  Phoenix, Arizona's capital, has it all, including scenic horseback trails, exciting nightlife, and activities both parents and kids will enjoy.  If you want to experience an exciting vacation, travel to Phoenix for a great time.  Otherwise, head elsewhere, such as quiet Casa Grande.

For fun activities both you and your kids can enjoy, take them to Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Afterward, stop by one of Phoenix's many ethnic restaurants -- chose from Hawaiian or traditional Mexican for a surprising kick.  For kid friendly lodging choices, there are many modernesque hotels that have pools and water parks, perfect for young kids.
