The Lowell Observatory, located fittingly on "Mars Hill" in Flagstaff, is a great opportunity to build a bit of education into your weekend. Tours are available all week long, and periodic star-gazing events are scheduled throughout the year.

The Beaver Street Brewery and Whistle Stop Cafe is a preferred destination for the locals. Reasonably priced foods and beverages, and the best wood-fired pizza around!
