Flagstaff Vacations, Tourism & Travel Information

OUR TAKE ON FLAGSTAFF

Our favorite city in Arizona is Flagstaff, and it's not only due to its size.  Surrounded by lush mountains and breathtaking scenery, thousands of people come here every year to vacation.  Only in Flagstaff does nature meet the big city, which is why Flagstaff is an appropriate place to vacation with your family, kids, or just with a fellow loved one.  To quickly entertain kids, travel to Flagstaff and entertain them with a fun guided tour in Flagstaff and around the Grand Canyon, which is only a short distance from Flagstaff. If that isn't enough, travel 35 miles east of Flagstaff to Arizona's famous Meteor Crater.  Kids can explore the crater, visit an Astronaut Wall of Fame, and go on guided trail tours around this historic monument.  Not traveling with kids?

There are many adult and romantic options here as well.  We suggest visiting Coconino National Forest, where you can see wildlife living in Coconino's rich, lush forestry.  Add a special touch to your vacation by traveling inside town to Flagstaff's Symphony Orchestra Hall.  Most concerts start as dusk, adding to the romance of their eclectic town.  The restaurants here aren't as ethnic as ones in southern Arizona, but the food still tastes delicious.  Modern and traditional lodging suites also exist in the heart of Flagstaff, and there are many kid friendly and more romantic options.  Make sure to book your lodging in advance, as Flagstaff is very busy.  For more information about Flagstaff's lodging, vacation, romantic and kid friendly options, visit Flagstaff's website.
