Tillmans Corner Vacations, Tourism & Travel Information
Our Take on Tillmans Corner, Alabama
Although not a city itself -- this is as small as Alabama gets -- Tillman's Corner is located 10 miles from Mobile, Alabama, and is a surprisingly quiet place. If you want a more action-filled vacation, you might be better off visiting neighboring Mobile. This is not a kid friendly vacation spot, but it is a very romantic friendly getaway. Complete with romantic lodging and the southern-town feel of southern Alabama, this is a popular romantic spot for couples, young and old.
Make sure your first stop is to Bellingrath Gardens, located just minutes away from Tillman's Corner. They are more than willing to show you true southern beauty with a personal tour of the Bellingrath House or on their personal cruise ship, the Southern Belle. Visit one of their local restaurants for delicious, local cuisine. Their cuisine, much like most of Alabama, is excellently priced, and excellently delicious. We don't suggest you visit Tillman's Corner in the later summer months, when it can be too humid for enjoyment. Instead, visit during the spring or early summer. Also, do remember that this is not a big city, although it does have many accommodations and attractions to see. Visit their chamber of commerce website for more information.
