Abbeville Vacations, Tourism & Travel Information
Our Take on Abbeville, Alabama
The real adventure lies a few miles northeast at the Blue Springs State Park. It is a 106-acre recreational area that is conducive for a variety of fun activities, such as swimming in a 68-degree spring water, fishing in a pond that is supplied with catfish and bream, and, of course, camping. There are 50 modern campsites in which 7 of them have sewer hook-ups. For a camping trip that will last more than one day, it might be a good idea to get a rental camper. A standard Abbeville City vacation camper, which is furnished with microwave, refrigerator, pillows, and even a coffee maker, can accommodate 6 persons. A picnic table and an outside grill also come with the rental camper. However, the family must remember two things: first, pets are not allowed in such campers, and second, linens and utensils are not provided. Although there are no telephones, there is a free wireless internet that can be accessed within the park office area.
An escape from the hustle and bustle from the city gives Abbeville vacations great charm, allowing you and your family to make lifelong memories of the great outdoors and suburban delights.
