OUR TAKE ON ALABAMA

Alabama is an important state to explore to understand the Civil Rights Movement; families will enjoy checking out the museums and historic sites in Birmingham, Montgomery and Mobile. The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute is a must-see, as is Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, another noteworthy site. Country music fans will enjoy Montgomery's Hank Williams Museum, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. home is educational and significant. Alabama has a number of excellent State Parks to recommend as well!
