"I love Belmar Beach and there's not much to say about this town, but the cleanest and most nicest beach you will ever find in NJ. There is no boardwalk, with the exception of local 7-11's, convience stores and maybe some hot dog stands, but that's about it. But if anyone you know has ever been here, they probally only talked about how much they enjoyed the water. It's so clean and mostly a family day-trip beach. I don't think much people actually stay here for day's or even weeks at a time- Most just come for the day and enjoy it till the sun goes down.
